THE (OR ANY) DIVINE INCARNATION
Therefore there is no person, neither can there ever be, a Divine Incarnation. That goes for Jesus as well as Sai Baba, Mother Meera and all the others who claim they are Divine Incarnations of God or the Great Mother.
In the first place, no one who has achieved the anointing by the Christ Principle would ever say so. In the New Testament, Jesus is given to say, “I am the Christ,” but that is one of the many re-writes the Bible has undergone since 325 C.E., when Jesus was voted to be the Son of God at the Nicean Council of the Catholic Church. Far more truthful is his response to Caiaphas when the High Priest asked him if he was indeed the Christ. Jesus’ answer: “Sayest thou.” which is the same as saying, “You said it, I didn’t.”
Thus we must conclude that any so-called “Divine Incarnation”is definitely not an incarnation of anything divine. As Joseph Campbell said, “The Divine is beyond all concepts.” That means there can be no dualism. Something is either divine or it isn’t. And if its divine it can’t have substance. Thus, again: no Divine Incarnation.
Jesus Christ was only a “Son of God” in the same manner as we are all sons and daughters of God. Equally true is the fact that we all may attain the anointing of the Christ Principle. Anyone may. The Christ is a universal principle, not something limited to one anointing under one religion, regardless of what they say.
As Jesus himself taught, the only God we can pray to is our own “God Within.” This is a “Spirit” just as it is said in John 4:24. “Spirit” has substance, even though it is invisible and intangible. Thus, this “Spirit” which is the “God Within” is a manifestation of a divine principle, but it does not incarnate! This is what one is anointed by when one finally receives “The Christ.”
I hope this information is of help to you.
