I'm confident the world will not end on December 21. The misinterpretations of the end of the Mayan long count calendar have, however, pricked our collective consciousness with apocalyptic thoughts.

This reaction, though, is nothing new, as belief in the end times is an old tradition that continues in spite of its perfect record of failure. There's something darkly attractive to the ego to think that existence on this planet will end during our lifetimes. And surely there are signs of distress that cause some to give up their hope in the future.

But in spite of this, the world will go on, and you can even get key dates and personal predictions for 2013 with a Big Picture Yearly Astrology Forecast.

We live in world of light and shadow where joy and sadness turn like the Earth, spinning from day to night. The end of physical life exists in all of our mortal bodies. This is the nature of things. Yet there are times when the pace of transformation accelerates, when the tectonic plates of civilization shift violently from one form to another.

Astrologically, we are in one of those periods, as symbolized by the ongoing stressful squares between Uranus and Pluto. We may be coming to the end of some worlds, just as the conjunction of these two transformational planets ended the placidity of the 1950's and gave birth to the revolutionary era in the mid-1960's.

A great awakening

Change is inevitable, but our reaction and role in it are not. Imagine that a part of your world is ending on December 21, but that instead of losing your home, your loved ones, your job or your health, you get to choose what ends. What behavior, relationship, belief, attitude or habit would you like to eliminate? Change the image of change from something that is negative and beyond your control to a positive one where you select the target and direct the process.

I've often written about the value of getting ahead of planetary waves to ride their immense energy instead of ignoring them and being smashed to the ground. Uranus and Pluto will continue to churn the atmosphere well into 2015. Change is coming whether we want it to or not. And the mass of minds around the world that worry, wonder or believe December 21 is a terminal date in human history help to make it so.

Instead of being afraid of what will happen to us, though, we can tap into these shifting forces of the cosmos and our collective consciousness to create a more desirable future and leave the old one behind.

Comment: The whole 12/21/2012 phenomena has had positive and negative affects on our global collective consciousness. It is a time zone that many are thinking about, usually with unjustified worry and foolish fear.

I am  convinced that life will go on as usual after 12/21/2012. Many Doomsday Prophets will be exposed as at least foolish and their prophecies will be seen for the phoniness of what they were. Many of them just have used it for their own profit, their own popularity and their own personal agendas.

At least, the whole 12/21/2012 phenomena has helped to make people more aware of the concept of time in their lives, how we even have an integrated collective consciousness now and the cumulative affects of awareness about it all. On the other hand, it has also been a form of futile escapism. We cannot be passive and just sit around waiting for a particular date in order to wage our struggles for Liberation. There are wrongdoings going on in the real world that must be stopped by the positive liberation forces of the world.

In the Big Picture we need to have a Global Libertion to help free the slaves, help end the domination of the Evil Empire and an Inner Liberation that promotes our liberatng ourselves as humane beings. The Evilness in the world is not all outside of our own individual beingness, there is also evilness or at least the potential for evil within us. What has actually changed over the centuries?

We need to see ourselves first and foremost as humane beings of one Family of Humanity. We need to strive for Global Liberation utilizing and exhausting all legal peaceful tactics and methods of struggle. Nevertheless, we must be prepared and be actually willing to use force if necessary to defend ourselves and our collective Family.

Any talk of disarming the people and Violating the 2nd Amendment must be exposed as another foul fascist plot by rogue elements in  the U.S. Regime and the Evil Empire. Yes, there is Evil in the world, but there is also real goodness in the world and manhy good poeple. Keep the faith!
