        If we could hop aboard a spaceship today and head away from the Earth and away from the sun, in a straight line through the orbits of the other planets in our solar system, we would first cross the orbit of Mars, then Jupiter, then Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, then off we’d sail into “outer space.” We would face the most hazardous part of the journey in the large gap between Mars and Jupiter. Millions of rocks and boulders of various sizes form a belt between those two orbits and could easily rip open the side of any spacecraft trying to pass through.

        Astronomers have known of the presence of the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter for about 150 years, but why it’s there they can only speculate. Many scientists think the asteroids are debris left over from a former planet that circled the sun in an orbit between Mars and Jupiter - a planet that was somehow destroyed many thousands of years ago.

        ITC contacts have validated that view. Our spirit friends include seven ethereal beings who have monitored our world for many thousands of years, coming especially close on six occasions when human civilization had reached an apex - a point at which we could either ascend to an enlightened state or collapse into a dark age. In all six occasions, humanity apparently fell into a dark period. The ethereal beings told us they have come close a seventh time now, and they wish to help us form a bridge between our world and theirs. That bridge will include world ITC and will help elevate our world to an enlightened state. Those seven ethereal beings have given us the following information about our heritage, which can help us understand our troubled conditions today and can shed light on a path toward an enlightened future. (The italicized text represents facts presented to us by our ethereal friends. Non-italicized text is information added by the author to fill in a few holes.) 

         A physical planet called Marduk once shared our solar system, located in a regular orbit between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It was a lush planet, thriving with riverine communities, home to a human civilization far beyond modern Earth in scientific and technological achievement. Immense powers were attained by such means as large-scale manipulation of subtle energies with crystals. Stone blocks the size of a small house could be moved and situated with great precision by this means in order to construct elaborate buildings. An intimate knowledge of these subtle energies, or life energies, allowed the people of Marduk to be in touch with intelligent minds in other worlds, as well as with each other in silent, direct, mind-to-mind communication.

        The sciences and industries of Marduk had followed a different course of evolution from humanity on Earth, and they far surpassed us in depth and complexity. Genetic engineering, energy production, and other paths of technology brought great wonders to the people of Marduk, but they also presented problems. Simple mistakes by genetic engineers could produce bizarre mutations, and mistakes by energy researchers could cause powerful explosions. After a certain point, scientific technology on Marduk took on a life of its own, and there seemed to be no stopping it, even if the people had wanted to. The rewards of scientific achievement were absolutely wonderful, dwarfing the occasional accidents and potential dangers, or so the people thought.

        The reality of life after death was a simple truth to everyone on Marduk. They were fully aware of their spiritual makeup and knew that many physical ailments have their origin in the subtle bodies. The healing arts took that into account. They were also aware that not just people, but all living things have subtle bodies. And not just LIVING things, but all physical things animate or inanimate have subtle bodies that coexist with the physical body and continue to exist after the physical body disintegrates. Rocks, mountains and entire planets have subtle bodies.

        The people realized that their very own planet Marduk had spiritual counterparts - parallel worlds existing in subtler dimensions. One branch of science on Marduk involved a space-time doorway through which people could travel between dimensions. They could enter the portal on the physical planet Marduk and emerge in astral worlds. The natural laws and the physics of the two realities were quite different from each other. For example, in the astral worlds there were no gravity, no time and no space as there were in the physical world. Scientists studied these differences as part of the natural sciences of multidimensional living.

        One small branch of the complex Marduk scientific establishment involved itself with space travel. It was not travel by propulsion as we know it today. Rather, the travelers would leave the physical world to enter the subtler realms of spacelessness and timelessness, then simply re-enter the physical realm in a new location. Like Marduk, the Earth was flourishing with life, but life on Earth was very primitive by comparison. Mars supported life at that time as well. Teams of scientists on Marduk - the equivalent of our geologists, climatologists, biologists, chemists and physicists - would take exploratory journeys to Earth and Mars from time to time to gather data and monitor the development of life on these very primitive planets. There were species of primates living on Earth at that time, and the scientists of Marduk familiarized themselves with their characteristics and behavior.

        Colonies of people from Marduk eventually settled on the surface of the primitive planet Earth, and, like pioneer families in the American West, worked intensively to carve a sense of order in the wild environment.

        The home planet Marduk had evolved into a paradise much like the legendary Eden, in which people lived for hundreds of years in physical bodies that showed little signs of aging. There was no need to eat other living things for nourishment, nor even to procreate. It was a perfect, idyllic life for most residents of Marduk, but not for everyone. The rugged way of life on Earth tugged like a magnet at some of the heartier souls and pioneering spirits of Marduk.

        As people became increasingly concerned about the dangerous trends of science and technology on Marduk, colonies on Earth began to expand. People brought seeds of their civilization to the new world, and those seeds quickly took root.

        Suddenly it happened. Unbridled science led to the destruction of the physical planet Marduk. The planet exploded, and the colonies that had taken root on Earth were now marooned here. All life on Mars was destroyed in the explosion as a thick rain of rocks, boulders, and planetary debris showered the red planet. Fortunately the castaways who survived on Earth had brought along enough science and technology from their home planet to build an advanced civilization on Earth over a period of several thousand years. It was called Atlantis, among other names. 

        Centralized at a location on the Earth where the north Atlantic Ocean is today, the civilization of Atlantis made tremendous strides over a period of several thousand years, and the people achieved scientific and technological prowess nearly equal to their ancient ancestors of Marduk. Genetic engineering developed quickly, altering the genes of ferocious tigers to produce the cute, lovable housecat, for example. They also produced monstrous beasts that future generations would have to battle for their lives. Some of these beasts became the subject of ancient legends which are still told today. Modern archaeologists shouldn’t be too surprised if one day they come across dragon bones.

        The people of Atlantis did not learn from the mistakes of their ancestors, and about 25,000 years ago they destroyed their civilization in a similar way that Marduk was destroyed, only this time it was just a continent, not an entire planet that was annihilated.

        Gradually, through cross-breeding with the primitive human population of Earth, the people evolved to become more compatible with life in their new world. It was a violent world in which animals consumed plants and other animals in order to subsist - a world of short lifespans and intense competition for mating rights. Sex was an integral part of life here. All these qualities which the people of Marduk had considered barbaric, slowly became a way of life in the new world.

        This was the true fall of Man, as documented later in religious texts, and Atlantis would become interpreted as the Garden of Eden. The serpent and the apple would come to represent the circumstances surrounding humanity’s fall from Grace not only after the destruction of Marduk, but also after the rise and fall of Atlantis. Because Atlantis did indeed fall in a similar, cataclysmic fashion. The god-like beings of Marduk, stranded on Earth, had “fallen from grace” when they began to cross-breed with the primitive hominids of Earth and thus became part of the terrestrial food chain. 

        Many centuries after the fall of Atlantis, in an ancient civilization, a panel of wise, old priests met in a temple called “Sothis,” in a city named Shanidar sitting along the banks of the Euphrates River, centuries before the city of Babylon would emerge on that very spot. The birth of Babylon would mark the beginning of the second major epoch of human civilization on Earth. Meanwhile, barbarians from surrounding lands were breaking down the doors to the temple and walls to the city at that moment with intent to pillage and sack this final stronghold of civilization.

        For years the priests had been working intensively to enlighten the masses in order to ward off a coming dark age, but they had failed. The signs of impending collapse loomed everywhere - starvation, disease, indifference to death and suffering, city streets strewn by the homeless, widespread murder, and rampant use of drugs. Such conditions had not plagued the Earth so heavily since the previous dark age.

        The priests had been trying to develop a “space-time doorway” to higher levels of spirit that would allow the wisdom of the ages to pour into the world and enlighten humanity. In hopes of accelerating and legitimizing “Project Sothis,” they had forged an alliance with scientists who would be able to convince humanity of the importance of this project as the last chance for peace in a sick world.

        Alkbrat, the head priest, acknowledged that they had made a big mistake. While the scientists had become so intent on measuring things, dissecting them, and counting them over and over again, he lamented, the higher purpose of the project was lost. That higher purpose was to understand that the physical world was inexorably linked to the spiritual worlds, that the doors between the physical and spiritual worlds had been closed, and that it was time to reopen those doors. While waiting patiently for the scientists to prove the existence of spiritual realms, the priests had wasted the time necessary to complete the project.

        And now, the walls of Shanidar were coming down. The following day would mark the beginning of the next dark age on Earth. All would be lost.

        The priests took this tragic occasion to bid each other farewell, knowing that tomorrow they each would be dead or in hiding. They vowed to try to come together in another lifetime, in a future era when darkness once again was spreading on Earth, leading to another end time. They would not remember each other consciously in that distant day, but they would feel the sense of belonging, and they would devote their lives to spreading Light and spiritual understanding within humanity. This reunion would occur when voices could “speak from boxes,” and when people could “move through light behind glass.”

        The Seven higher beings had been working closely with the priests, and they would return at that future time to help usher in the miracle.

The Late Great Planet Tiamat

According to the harmonic rule known as Bode's Law, a planet should exist between Mars and Jupiter - some 260 million miles from the Sun.

Beginning in 1801, tiny rock and metallic objects were discovered to be orbiting the Sun at about this distance. Since then, several hundred thousand large asteroids have been catalogued, and it is estimated that there are more than a million 1 km asteroids.


Was the Third Rock from the Sun Once the Fifth Rock from the Sun?

Stretched out at a distance of 205 to 300 million miles from the Sun, this band is known as the Asteroid Belt. The asteroids range in size from Ceres, which has a diameter of about 1000 km, down to the size of pebbles. If the estimated total mass of all the asteroids was gathered into a single object, the object would total about 1,500 kilometers (932 miles) across - less than half the diameter of the Earth's moon.

Atronomer H. Olbers discovered the second asteroid, Pallas, in 1802, and the fourth asteroid, Vesta, in 1807. In his time, Olbers thought these bodies were fragments of a planet that had exploded. Another generally accepted theory suggests the asteroids are the remains of a planet that was destroyed in a massive collision. Nonetheless, it had earlier become evident that much of the material of this 'missing planet' had been pulled into the orbits of Earth, Mars and Jupiter as either meteors or orbiting satellites.

Among catastrophists there is substantial disagreement on the matter of the "missing" fifth Planet from the Sun, in the place of which lies the Great Band, the debris of an enormous planet which the Sumerians knew as Tiamat. There are various opinions on what caused the Asteroid Belt; for instance, Tom van Flandern's Exploded Planet Hypothesis in Dark Matter, Missing Planets and New Comets, asserts that a former major planet between Mars and Jupiter exploded about 65 million years ago.

Van Flandern believes this event is the origin of the great bombardment of comets and asteroids which ended the reign of the dinosaurs on Earth. However, according to Zecharia Sitchin in The Twelfth Planet, written accounts left by the lost Sumerian civilization state that Tiamat isn't missing, it just moved shop. Tiamat is the planet on which we are standing right now.

This article will discuss two anomalies that suggest the Earth was once further away from the Sun, suggesting that prior to a grand cataclysm described in the Babylonian Enuma elish, the Earth was the planet which the Sumerians called Tiamat.

According to Sumerian/Babylonian cosmogony (cosmic genesis), the fifth Planet from the Sun, Tiamat, was shunted to third position by a calamitous event, one now well known by followers of Planet X Theory. First, a quick overview of the Sumerian/Babylonian story of Tiamat is in order.


Nibiru: The Retrograde Interloper

Ancient Sumerian texts indicate that Tiamat was struck by a large planet, which moved it into its present orbit, and also created the Earth's moon and the Asteroid Belt. In his books, The Twelfth Planet and The Cosmic Code, Zecharia Sitchin outlines this "celestial battle" as described in the Babylonian text Enuma elish.

The planet "Marduk" (the Sumerian "Nibiru"), as it came into the solar system on its 3,600-year clockwise (retrograde) elliptical course, struck Tiamat, which was moving in its ordained counterclockwise orbit.

According to Sitchin's well-known translations, one of Marduk's satellites struck Tiamat first, followed by two more of Marduk's moons. Then Marduk itself, an enormous cosmic entity, struck Tiamat, smashing one half of the planet into pieces, which became what the Sumerians called the Great Band.

The remaining half of the planet, which was struck by a smaller moon of Marduk, was catapulted into a new orbit, along with a chunk of material which became its moon. According to the Enuma elish, Tiamat's original moons were dispersed, many changing the direction of their orbits and rotations.

There is indeed evidence of this great cataclysm in our solar system today. Tom van Flandern, a specialist in Celestial Mechanics at the US Naval Observatory, has suggested that the great rift on Mars may be the impact site of a former moon, the moons of Neptune show evidence of violent disruption, Mercury was originally a moon of Venus, Mars once had many more moons, and Pluto and Charon are escaped moons of Neptune.

Van Flandern finds the retrograde rotation of Venus peculiar, he believes that our moon originated from the Pacific Basin of the Earth, and he agrees that there is probably an undiscovered planet beyond Pluto which belongs to our solar system. In addition, Hubble recently investigated one of the largest asteroids, Vesta, and found evidence of differentiated layers similar to the terrestrial planets, distinctive light and dark areas like the face of our moon, and a geology similar to the Earth, including evidence of ancient lava flows.


Impossible Knowledge

Sitchin believes that the "impossible knowledge" of the Sumerians was imparted to them by "Anunnaki" space travelers in a series of texts forming the basis of ancient science and religion, and was translated into many languages, including Greek and biblical Hebrew. According to Sitchin, all ancient mythologies stem from this original knowledge imparted to earthlings by spacefaring ETI hailing from this wayward bowling ball, Nibiru. According to Sitchin, the Anunnaki called our planet ERIDU, meaning "Home away from Home."

Sitchin also argues in The Cosmic Code that the Anunnaki used their detailed sky charts to group the stars into constellations, and then honored their leaders by naming the constellations after them. Thus, the Sumerian god EA, ("Whose Home is Water") was honored by the zodiacal signs of Aquarius and Pisces, and the "priests who oversaw his worship" were dressed as Fishmen.

Enlil, the strong-headed one, was honored by the sign of Taurus. Ninmah was Virgo. The warrior Ninurta was Sagittarius. Over time, Sitchin explains, as second and third generation Anunnaki 'gods' joined the scene on Earth,

"all the twelve zodiacal constellations were assigned to Anunnaki counterparts."

He argues, "not men, but the gods, devised the zodiac."

The continent that the ancients called Pangea likely represents the prehistoric truth regarding the land formation on the Earth after it was involved in this collision. Over time, the continents then drifted to where they are now. As Sitchin points out, Earth's largest landmasses are mostly on one side and the oceans take up the rest of the planet. Looking at the Earth's globe from a distance, if you took the water away, what's left is a "cleaved planet," which is the meaning of "KI" - the Sumerian word for the present embodiment of Earth.

According to the Enuma elish, the Earth came to rest as the third Rock from the Sun after this watery calamity. Here is where the Biblical genesis tale picks up the story, only telling it as a beginning, at the point where the waters of these two great bodies separated in the firmament, the waters belonging to two worlds going bump in the night. Current advances in astronomy have, in fact, corroborated certain aspects of this tale.


Planet X in the News

Mathematical irregularities in the orbits of the outer planets, in particular, strange wobbles and gravitational anomalies noted in the orbits of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, have prompted astronomers over the past hundred years to search for a large planetary body in the outer solar system.

Based on mathematical evidence, astronomers have been so sure of the reality of this planet that they named it Planet X. The name stands for the tenth planet, as well as the mathematical symbol for an unknown quantity. (see Joan d'Arc, "Planet X - Is a Runaway Wrecking Ball Part of Our Solar System?")

Many articles have been written about Planet X over the last twenty years.

• On June 17, 1982, a NASA press release from Ames Research Center officially recognized the possibility of "some kind of mystery object" beyond the outermost planets.
• Astronomy magazine published an article in December of 1981 entitled "Search for the Tenth Planet," and another article in October of 1982 entitled "Searching for a Tenth Planet."
• Newsweek covered the story of Planet X on June 28, 1982 in an article entitled "Does the Sun Have a Dark Companion?"
• This article implied that the tenth planet was a twin sun, stating that such a,
  • "dark companion could produce the unseen force that seems to tug at Uranus and Neptune, speeding them up at one point in their orbits and holding them back as they pass... the best bet is a dark star orbiting at least 50 billion miles beyond Pluto... It is most likely either a brown dwarf, or a neutron star."
    
    
• Andy Lloyd later went on to more than speculate that we live in a binary star system.
• The Washington Post covered the story of Planet X on the front page on December 31, 1983 called "Mystery Heavenly Body Discovered."
• This story reported that the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) detected heat from an object about fifty billion miles away.
• A NASA/ARC press release published in Newsweek on July 13, 1987 disclosed that, "an eccentric 10th planet may or may not be orbiting the Sun."
• The article stated that NASA research scientist John Anderson, "has a hunch Planet X is out there, though nowhere near the other nine."
• The article concluded,
  • "if he is right, two of the most intriguing puzzles of space science might be solved: what caused mysterious irregularities in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune during the 19th Century. And what killed off the dinosaurs 26 million (sic) [actually 65 million] years ago."

This brings us quite neatly to the first anomaly which suggests the Earth was the late great Planet Tiamat.

Where are you in the Hidden Revolution?

In astrology, the outer planets beyond Saturn represent large-scale collective changes, which both work through and also affect each person within that collective. These planets also signal far-reaching shifts in individual consciousness, which in turn express themselves in new ideas, hopes and visions that sow the seeds for future social forms. Two of the outer planets, Uranus and Neptune, were within orb of conjunction during the period 1989 - 1998, with marked intensification during 1993. This phenomenon is of major interest, and this article explores its process within the impersonal collective, and also considers its meaning from the individual and transpersonal perspective. (1) We shall begin by looking at Uranus and Neptune separately. (Note: see also the Uranus/Neptune section of articles written by Melanie, as this material is topical to what is happening now - 2008)
URANUS: The Awakener
Uranus is the planet which reflects revolution, disruption, breakthrough and change. It needed modem technology to be discovered in 1781, as it is not visible to the naked eye. The invisible systems of telecommunication round the Earth and beyond are a Uranian manifestation, an expression of inter-connection and interdependency. This planet is associated with the individualistic spirit within humanity, with groups, organisations and networks in which like-minded people seek to share information and work towards realising common hopes, dreams and aspirations. Its transpersonal quality is awakening, illumination, insight, clarity and higher understanding which can provide powerful motivation for creative change in individual life. However, when new ideas or energy are introduced into any established system, the system may need to be fragmented or even destroyed. This fragmentation allows space for the life force to flow again, and the old pieces can eventually be reassembled into a new order, corresponding to a new set of ideas. Thus Uranus often accompanies changes which are sudden, unexpected, shocking and electrifying.

NEPTUNE: The Dissolver
By contrast, Neptune heralds change by dissolution, loosening, weakening, and blurring the edges of defined boundaries. It works an invisible disintegration, progressively eroding a structure until it collapses of its own momentum, usually amidst much chaos, confusion, sorrow and fear. Its highest potential is to wash away impurities, to redeem and let go of the past through forgiveness, acceptance and compassion. Neptune symbolises our yearning for a personally felt connection with all life. Thus Neptune's realm feels dangerous to our self-preservation instinct, wearing away everything that tries to hold its individual shape, whether it be our bodies, worn down by age, or our ideals, worn down by experience. Indeed, in the natural course of events our very life force will eventually dissolve and be rendered into spiritual fodder for the generations that follow.

CAPRICORN: Establishing forms
The conjunction of Uranus and Neptune is occurring astrologically in the powerful earth sign of Capricorn, which shows the field of life experience where these changes focus or precipitate. Capricorn represents tradition, structures built in the past, the Establishment, and the large government, social and economic systems, which define the outer world in which we live – those things we take for granted.

The changes currently taking place worldwide in these areas are breathtaking. We cannot open a newspaper or turn on the television without seeing graphic examples of once solid structures being disrupted and dissolved. Chaos, suffering and fragmentation seem to be the order of the day, as everything from the N.H.S. to the Russian Empire is being thrown into disarray. But, where Neptune is involved, things may not always be what they seem. A higher purpose may be at work, and Uranus demands the awakening of the individualised mind out of the sea of the collective. To quote Antero Alii, "The messages we get from television, radio, newspapers... are so crossed and confused that if you don't start thinking for yourselves, you'll be woven into the social fabric of a great dying beast..." (2).

SATURN: Where the work lies
Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, which represents our relationship to and responsibility within the larger collective structures as described. At a personal level, Saturn encapsulates our psychological infrastructures: inherited emotional habit patterns and expectations, the crystallised past, our family heritage, our very body substance: that which we cling to in order to define who we are and our place in the world. Saturn symbolises the background limitations and conditioning we must struggle with in order to free our individual spirit. However, it is also the principle of structuring, ordering, creating boundaries and appropriate limitations to achieve stability in the outer and inner world. Without Saturn's sense of realism nothing takes form, everything remains unmanifest. Saturn's work is to balance, discriminate and contain the flux of life in order to shape something real, tangible.
Thus Saturn shows us what structures and containers will be forming to mediate, channel and express the powerful Uranus/Neptune energies, and perhaps points to where our individual work lies. Saturn moved into Aquarius in February 1991 and remains there until January 1994, so let us look at what this might offer us.

Responding to the call of Saturn in Aquarius means there is work to be done by the individual in relation to groups, networks and associations concerned with putting new ideas into form and expanding consciousness. Those who come together in networks of like-mindedness may have a better chance of working for change rather than being in effect of it. Group allegiance at this time is not herd instinct or conformity, but rather people spontaneously coming together for a shared purpose or intention. When the purpose is fulfilled, the group will naturally disband, and the participants may then regroup in other ways.

In the Aquarian group, resources are accessed and information exchanged through networking, rather than via a centralised Capricornian authority structure. Saturn in Aquarius may also symbolise the challenge to refine and consolidate our ideals and take a serious look at our beliefs. Where are you a victim of groupthink? Where have you betrayed yourself through not recognising the difference between your ideals and the limitations of manifest reality? Or, have you dismissed the inspiration of your once cherished ideals? To quote Sufi Inayat Khan: “The path of freedom lead to captivity; it is the path of discipline which leads to the goal of liberty”. (3)

THE INDIVIDUAL AS MICROCOSM
At this time of accelerated global change, it may be important to remember that each of us within the microcosm of our individual lives is undergoing a process of irrevocable change. The awakening spoken of by many people, past and present, is indeed happening now. It is not a once-and-for-all event to occur at a specific future time, although the forthcoming Uranus/Neptune conjunctions will see periods of intensification. The 'old order' is also dying at a deeply personal level, as our psychological and karmic structures are opened to the fresh awareness and insight symbolised by the Uranus/ Neptune conjunctions.

Thus, if we are not to melt into the morass of general insecurity, chaos and mass change, we need to pay close attention to our own body, emotions and mind which are the vehicle for our individual participation in life, expressing the karmic necessity of the soul. Our own past may need the redeeming forgiveness symbolised by Neptune, and the illumination of the larger Uranian perspective. While structure are being dissolved and broken on every level from collective to personal, there is an increased access to the subtle dimensions of energy which interpenetrate the physical. These are also the province of the outer planets.

THE WISDOM OF INSECURITY
Although most people who will read this article are not living on the front line of mass starvation, violent political revolution or natural disaster, we are all participating in a global and perhaps cosmic process of change, whether we acknowledge it or not. We live with increasing levels of insecurity, and must embrace change at many different levels. Perhaps the message of the Uranus/Neptune conjunction is that we cannot afford to draw our security from forms and structures which are crumbling, and although we may have to endure periods of chaos and fear, we also now have the opportunity to move beyond confusion to a deeper connection with ourselves, and eventually to express this in the creation of new personal and social structures.

The Internet is awash with predictions based on the astrology of December 21 2012 because the Mayan calendar apparently ends on this date. The frenzy of predictions range from spiritual enlightenment and ascension, to all out global war and the end of days. There are some very significant astrological events leading up to December which we mentioned in the posts 2012 Astrology, Uranus square Pluto and Cherokee Rattlesnake Prophecy and I share the interest in this speculation particularly because I am fascinated the the Yod aspect pattern, and on 21st December 2012 there is a very special Yod aspect pattern to the planet Jupiter which is conjunct the important fixed star Aldebaran. In the last few hundred years, there has only been one Jupiter Yod similar to the  December 21 2012 Jupiter Yod. That was in May 1989, so I will look at what manifested from that, and then take a closer look at the December 2012 Yod. For an explanation of the Yod aspect pattern see Yod Astrology.

1989 Jupiter Yod

Saturn sextile Pluto causes those things rules by these planets to work together energetically with a common purpose. Saturn is the security and structure given by governments and organization, law and order, the framework for society to function in. Pluto is like a big brother to Saturn, Pluto is ultimate power and control, the multinational corporations and global political and private organizations, the new world order. Working together we could see this as the UN, IMF, dictatorships, global partnerships such as communism and the alliances of the West. Pluto is also secret and underworld, and tied to conservative Saturn we get global groups such as Freemasonry, Opus Dei and Al-Qaeda.

Jupiter is philosophy and religion. The moral code of the society, more to do with the rights of the individual than Saturn and Pluto. Jupiter is optimistic and freedom loving. It rules judges and clerics and the rights of people in the society. So Saturn and Pluto bear down their joint forces on Jupiter via the quincunxes. Jupiter must express the energy somehow. In 1989 we have a number of examples how this occurred, with far reaching consequences. The Yod was most exact on 18 May 1989, when The Chinese government declared martial law in Beijing to deal with protesting students in Tienanmen square. Jupiter was at 13.25 Gemini. The most significant events relating to this Yod did not occur for another 16 days when a New Moon occurred at 13.12 Gemini on 03 June 1989, activating the Yod action point.

Less than one hour after that New Moon, Tienanmen square had been cleared leaving thousands dead. Saturn and Pluto control and domination squashed Jupiter hopes. One hour before that New Moon on the Jupiter action point, Ayatollah Khomeini died in Tehran from an operation 2 weeks earlier, when the Jupiter Yod was close in aspect. The next day, the Vatican backed Solidarity Movement won the Polish elections, the first of the anti communist revolutions. These events show the effects of Saturn and Pluto on Jupiter. Global entities such as the Catholic Church and Communism. Less obvious but still working behind the scenes would have been Western capitalism supporting the Chinese students and the Solidarity Movement. I see Jupiter here as the rights of the people, standing up against the power of authority as represented by the anit-religious, anti-freedom communist governments.

Jupiter always wants to expand, and at the focal point of a Yod, the issue is forced, this time by the heavyweights of global movements, organizations and governments. The communists lost in Poland, and won in China. The people won in Poland and lost in China. So Saturn – Pluto was stronger in China, represented by the autocratic government. But Saturn-Pluto was also strong in Poland with the influence of the Catholic Church and Western governments. It seems that Tienanmen square was a negative manifestation of this Yod, while Poland was a positive manifestation of that same energy.

December 21 2012 Astrology Chart

Based on the events of 1989, we may expect the big global players to be involved in some power struggle again. The way things are going at the moment, multinational corporations may be the cause of some uprising expressed through Jupiter. One factor not in play in 1989 was the internet which has brought us all much closer together to share our thoughts. I see this a very Jupiter, expanding horizons. People power will be stronger with this networking and sharing of information.

The 2012 Yod has no lunation near by to activate it like occured in 1989, so that may weaken the effect. However there was no fixed star at the action point in 1989. In 2012, Jupiter will be on a major fixed star for this Yod and this will give it a lot of strength.

Aldebaran and December 21 2012

The fixed star Aldebaran is one of the four Royal Stars of ancient Persia. It’s effects have been studied and documented for thousands of years. It will add extra energy to this configuration as it gives extraordinary energy. When looking into the effects of this star over the last century, I found a definite link to the Jupiter themes discussed about the 1989 Yod. Aldebaran is linked to the social rights of society. This is supported by research from Nick at Lunar Planner Forum. “Aldebaran holds the vision for global leaders and world servers inspiring the administrative planning of world affairs, specifically for physical logistics and a global infrastructure designed to support humanity through evolutionary unfoldment and global change. Prominent alignments with the Aldebaran / Antares axis can express into the business and political arenas and is of their leaders“.

Like 1989, this might work out positively and negatively at the same time. At best we could see governments and corporations listening to the global community and working to fix the mess of consumerism and environmental disasters. At worst there could be massive uprisings against the corruption of power in governments by the corporations. Religion will again be an issue. Islam has gone more extreme since 1989 and the West is viewed as the Christian Crusaders more than ever now in the Middle East. Alderbaran is a military star and some see it as the energy of Archangel Michael, “Military Commander of the Heavenly Host“, and with Jupiter it gives “Great ecclesiastical honor and high military preferment.” So at worst we could see an escalation in religious wars.

At best we may see the raising of global spirituality to a new level of acceptance and understanding. We may well see the best and the worst at the same time, and this polar extreme is something common in the effect of the Royal Stars. As Bill Tierney wrote about the Yod: “arriving at a fork in the road and having to proceed in one direction rather than another without knowing where it will lead to.” Some of us will take one road, and some the other. We will be presented with an opportunity for peace. The action point of a Yod comes under intense pressure, and has to release the energy somehow. When there is a planet opposite the reaction point, that’s where the energy heads to find expression. In December 2012, Venus will be opposite Jupiter. Venus is the reaction point of this Boomerang Yod, so all that combined energy of Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter will be condensed and focused on Venus, peace and harmony. That day Sun will be sextile Neptune which will impart a positive spiritual energy to the whole dynamic.

A Viewpoint of Your Life

"When one is incarnate it is easy to become completely absorbed by the linear dramatic life. The focus is immediate and compacted leaving the soul distracted by all the solidness and theatrics.

If one is to truly evolve it is important to step outside of the life. A view of the bigger picture is often helpful when trying to determine your advancement.

Take in each day a moment where the energy is not one of the linear. A moment where a sense of oneness and tranquility over rides everything else. It does not have to be a standard meditation process. It can be as simple as a walk, listening to music, or appreciating the breeze upon your face as you sit in a favorite spot.

The idea of a private moment is often foreign to most of you. A breath of tranquility no matter what the source, can give you a view point of your life.

Take a pause.

Separate from the little picture and participate with the bigger one. The one where your soul resides. It will make a difference. By putting the dramatics of the day that appear so enormous in a different perspective, you will be able to see clearly the direction to go.

Design your moment of meditation. It is certainly all right to do so.

Past Life Energy

Rough Times In The Linear

"In the linear the feeling of separation is often expanded as one feels his or her way through the sea of chaos. Most feel the void and become fearful that their connection with their soul may be forever out of their reach.

It is important to realize that those in spirit are always moving past any impediments to connecting with those they love in the linear.

Close your eyes when fearful and feel the touch of spirit. The warmth of that embrace can supersede any detachment one may feel while in the physical form.

Spirit senses when the disconnect occurs and moves forcefully to reconnect. Allow the energy to proceed. We realize it may be difficult but open yourself to the probability if at all possible.

"In the current culture much is made of all the negativity. Enactments of hate, lies, and unbalance are fairly the standard moment in most environments.

Emotional Healing

"Many who incarnate into the physical find themselves at some point battling a disease of the body. It may appear to be rooted in genetics or the environment. However, perhaps the real inception lies in emotional turmoil that may need healing. This could be a moment from the current lifetime as well as a past life.

As one walks through the life it is important to listen to your emotions, not just to act and react with them. An understanding of the effect that energy has on your body supersedes many ideas your culture may have upon health.

Spend moments energetically transmitting the power of your soul. Look at the situation honestly even if at first you find it difficult.

"When aspiring to create and manifest in the linear it is important to consider your energy input. Often the difficulty of bringing manifestations into the linear is interfered upon by the exact one who is trying to bring them in.

Examine your opinions and personal energy often. In truthfulness see how those moments have an effect upon your experience. You are connected to your soul, which feels powerful in the moment, however, your self doubt can often derail the best laid plans.

It's not easy to examine the self. Earlier experience, which includes childhood and past life can aid the self into feeling powerless and victimized.

Whenever possible attempt to see a moment clearly without the opinions interfering.

We realize it would be easier to blame outside forces for derailments, however, the courage to examine the self would be the best route.

Look doubt in the eye and see it for what it is.

"Becoming physical is indeed a great undertaking. The benefits are many if one can navigate a steady path towards the evolving of the soul.

The fascination of what the future will bring negates the power of the present. It is really the only place where one can create their future moment.

It is imperative to stay calm and focused now. Each choice made is another facet of what will come. It can not be predicted, only created.

That creative moment is your present. By staying balanced without the hindrance of fear there is more clarity to have the life you desire.

Reaching deep within to maintain the balance is the key. Separating from all the chaos to that quiet place within will help.

Forgiveness... Is It Possible?

"The soul learns much through the pathways of physical existence. The dramas created leaving one to ponder the ability to put oneself into a scenario and perceive from another's viewpoint.

Many wrongs are endured by those who trusted another... injury to the heart a constant reminder that some energies blindly push their way through a life with little or no care to those they bruise.

What of those who are injured? Are they required to bear the scars of cruelty endlessly? In some viewpoints it seems so, however, it is important to remember that forgiveness is often the pathway to liberation from one who wold cause injury. By taking their power away through non-engagement in the negative exchange one can achieve separation.

The next step to strengthen the resolve is letting go of the pain by releasing the feelings attached to the exchange.

Not an easy task, however, a necessary one if you are desiring to release yourself totally. To continue without forgiveness only beckons more in future moments. Often it becomes a pattern resulting in a repetitive moment.

It is important to realize that some who would injure you do not realize what they are doing. They participate in an unconscious moment triggered by their own pain.

Decide within yourself that it is possible to forgive. Venture down the path and release the negativity. It will not immediately fix everything but it will put you in a greater creative arena.

Multiple Lives, One Existence

"The harmony of the soul often eludes those in the linear. Interaction with other energies can incite a battle of whits that can preclude the necessary alignment with one's own vibration.

When a soul incarnates within its soul group there are often continuing dramas that thread themselves through many lives. A particular imbalance between two energies may take several lifetimes to emerge into a more tranquil interaction.

If you find yourself in a web of discomfort it is important to remember that it is but a chapter in the evolvement that is being created between you. The dance will continue until it is resolved. The despair of this participation interaction may be alleviated in the next life.

In the case of the current interaction the snares from past moments can lay in one's path as the life proceeds in the now. Often two souls of great connection participate at this level.

If one is able to look at it from this perspective it is possible to understand where the difficulty originated and where it is going.

Know that you participate on many levels and that not all of them are difficult.
